What scale to use I think am doing it right

Hi i'm playing this riff or tune whatever you want to call it that my friend made. He ask me to try to solo to it but i don't know what scale i should use.I am trying to use the notes on the neck of the guitar i put the note and tab down. I see that F is my common note so do i have to use a F major or minor scale. I know my Major scale,Minor Pentatonic scale, Blues scale and Major Pentatonic.Just one more thing could so one try it out maybe you coulde solo to it i would try but guitar got bronke at the neck so i have to wait to get my new JACKSON DXMG. Thanks for all the HELP

try the E Lydian mode (same as the B major scale but based around an E root)
B Major scale = B C# D# E F# G# A#

E Lydian mode = E F# G# A# B C# D#
