Recording Forum?

How about a forum dedicated to those of us who have a studio at home?Or just record on our PCs.After 3 years I have found that there is a trick to getting a good sound,and sharing information would be great.

I think it's a good idea, but don't you think most queries would relate to specific programmes? I mean I use GT Pro and if I have a problem, it's usually because I don't know how to do aomething on the actual program. Still, I think it's a good idea anyway....

And yeah, tell us what your trick is!!! I find I get a good sound with the sound card my PC came with (Avance?) and running my guitar thru my line out in my amp. Only problem I do get sometimes is using overdrive pedals or wah pedals and I get this awful hum on the recording. Oh well.
