Well......

There is just a but more than just flippen the strings over... you'll need to flip the saddle and have a new nut put on..... is it an electric? there is more to do if there is.

Its an electric. But first I need the guitar. I want to know exactly how, and have it memorizd by the time I get the guitar.

People say hendrix just flipped the guitar over, moved the strap nut, and restrung it lefty. But I doubt that. I would get a new nut, and move the strap nut. They also say that since hendrix flipped the guitar over that the pickups were left the same, so the string balance was pretty much backwards. If the pole pieces are adjustable you can just readjust them, but if it's a strat you will have to rotate the pickups so the string balance is correct, or you can leave them the same but I wouldn't recommend that.

Thanx. When in fact I do get the guitar, a Fender Tornado. I will ask exactly what to do, so I can do it. If it doesnt work out, then I will sell the guitar, and just play Lefties.

Do the reverse, ask what to do THEN buy it. You will loose money if you buy the guitar and find out you can't use it then turn around and sell it. Find out how hard it is and what all it takes to do that to the tornado and then buy the guitar if it is something you are willing to do. And ask yourself is it worth it, or could you just go buy a real lefty for what it's all gonna cost.

Pretty much all the models I like arent made lefty. Thats why I want to customize them lefty like Hendrix did. I hink I want an acoustic instead now. I think I will get a Lefty model, they got one in Musicians Friend for $119.99 that is lefty, but too bad it is Rogue though. But hey, an acoustic is an acoustic.

That last statement was very incorrect. An acoustic is not an acoustic. Those rogue guitars are so cheap, they are worse than squiers, they are actually made by squier. Trust me, don't buy cheap! I know from experience. Buying a cheap guitar doesn't get you ahead, it actually puts you behind. Acoustics are very easy to make lefty too. Look into a nicer acoustic than a rogue!

Than what to do? Buy a very nice acoustic, and make it lefty? UIll check out musicians Friend and see what I like. Ill post in a little while the one I like.

I would be willing to bet there's lefty acoustics out there. Just look around. Don't rush buying a guitar or an amp, shop around, see what's good to you and all that. Take your time.
