ska really isn't that hard when you have practiced enough to have a good speed. Then you can also improvise some stuff. I have played about 5 months now and find ska simple. But if you want some concrete songs search [spunge] or reel big fish's tabs on the internet. And also check this out http://www.cyberfret.com/styles/ska/101/page3.php.
I found it quite useful.

There's this one local band here in Jersey named SGR, everyone around here loves the songs, if you can find some of their music check 'em out, IDK if there'll be any tabs around though.
Maybe check out some sublime, that might suit your tastes.

sublime is where you need to start. remember that ska is played off beat. 'date rape' is one of my personal favorites.

They are on the parody/punk side of ska but really catchy--Murphy's Law. If anybody has a CD or a copy of 'Back with a Bong' they would be willing to sell me...

Yeah, i used to be real into ska. Check out a band called Mustard Plug... they rock!
Also, there's a really popular local band here that i used to like called Kicking Sicily. Here's some of their music:

mind you they are a local band. I used to be friends with the band. I still talk to the trombone player occasionally. Have fun with that... Good music!

i love ska. its so...happy any way
I recommend looking in to Reel Big Fish Catch 22 (more specifically their CD Kesbey Nights) Suburban Legends, Dance Hall Crashers, Streetlight Manifesto, Stereo 7 (a local Ska Band in KC), the English Beat if your in to Two Tone
Agian ska takes practice and a good amount of internal rythum...
an easy song to play is Cath 22's "Kesbey Nights" one of the coolest intros in the world...EVER.
P.S. thomas (of Catch 22 and Streetlight Manifesto) is a genius.
