Easy Lead and Rythmn songs!?

Ok I am in this little garage band LOL. we need some songs to learn but we arent very good our bassest is good but the guitars arent LOL. Does anyone have a list of songs that are easy for both lead and Rythmn. We play hardrock,rock,grunge,and heavy metal if you can help me it will help alot.

I dunno... try getting some blink 182 songs and write a solo to them

Oasis songs are a piece of piss to play. Nice and easy pentatonic solos on nearly every song.

as a band. try taking song you all like and play them how you can/want to.
eg, if you cant play the solo, replace it etc.
It's all just about finding your style and matching it to your ability i suppose

I am not sure if you guys like 80s rock or not, but the scorpions rock you like a hurricaine or any of there songs of the album animal magnitism are all easy songs to play, and are good songs to help teach you how to play better. Stevie Ray Vaughan's Look At Little Sister is easy, but the solo is fast and you have to get the rhythm down. If you don't like him, punk music is easy.

ya thats good, at least your not trying to be a great rockstar like some people first try out to be. Eventually i hope u get there but for starts do what your doing. Good songs to start out with are when you can smoothly move from chord to chord or power chord to power chord are no offence but punk songs. But if you can move from chord to chord fast, practice those and then look for songs.

Anything by Nirvana. Even the solos are ridiculously easy. (still an awesome band.. or they were). One and Battery by Metallica are fairly easy too, though i still can't get the solos on Puppets or the last solo in One :rolleyes:

The two songs that come to mind that have very easy rhythm parts (I am not so sure about the solos though) are Back in Black by AC DC and Wasted by Def Leppard. Check them out at guitaretab.com
