I was just playing my bass and i remembered something my friend told me. He said that the precision pickups weren't supposed to be slanted. Is this true? If it is should i try and screw them in? Thanks

The edges tha are in the middle and are touching are higher than the outer edge. I'll try to get a picture of it.

The pick-ups are slanted for a different sound is all. The angle of the pick-ups should match the angle of your fretboard. There is nothing wrong with those pick-ups so don't worry.
