Hi Folks,

I just signed up and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a guitar player wannbe. I've always like the guitar and after my last motorcycle wreck decided I needed a less painful hobby. A sad fact was also pointed out at that time, I don't heal as fast as I once did. So here I am!

I've got about two and a half months of lessons behind me and progress is slow, very slow. I have found that anything worth having or doing takes time, lots of it. This is something I want to do for myself, no other motivation at all. I hope to pick up some good tips from more advanced players, as well as have a good time.

Well we might have you play some scales, which can be uncomfortable at first. And maybe have you learn a little music theory, that might make the brain ache a little. But missing a note on a fast lick will never hurt as bad as missing a turn on a fast bike :) welcome

Hey welcome to the forums, you will love it here. Glad to here that you have decided to take up guitar, and sorry to hear that you have given up motorcycling :( . Anyways, ask any questions you may have, there is always at least a few people who can answer them.
