Well, you've probably heard these about 100 times, but;

ACDC ; Thunderstruck
Black Sabbath ; Paranoid
Deep Purple; Fireball
ACDC ; Let there Be Rock (one of my alltime favorites!!!)
Pink Floyd ; Another Brick In the Wall (version 2!!!)
VanHalen; Jump (not a real guitar song, but whatever)
The Eagles ; Hotel California
Queen; We Will Rock you (especially the solo is banging!!)

Dream Theater - The Dance of Eternity

It's ironic and unusual that I'm posting a DT song, but I really like it.

03-27-2004, 09:43 PM
im not big on dream theatre either but there is a cool but in metroplis one 5:30 into the song with the bass guitar.
i dig the bit 2:30 into the dance of eternity song. alot of dream theatre just sounds to crazy. like when you start making random notes on a music program and make them play really fast.

audioslave - like a stone

i like how the bass line stays the same where i would have been so tempted to make it move about. and it has a pretty funky solo too.

Not heard that song myself, but is it a cover of the song by David Bowie???

My contributions would have to be

Beatles - Happiness is a Warm Gun

Hendrix - Midnight Lightning

Eric Clapton - If I Had Possession Over Judgement Day (R Johnson cover)

(actually, don't know how you define cool here, but I've been listening to these songs quite a bit recently)

Their are many that i like some by bands very obscure, but i think just by a nick ''Vinilla Queen'' the live version! is my fav by Golden Earring.

Another underated song is ''Under the Sun'' by Black Sabbath! i love the end piece on that one.

Also early Genesis ''The Musical Box'' is a gr8! track, and ''Stairway to Heaven'' that is a gr8! track too.

To many mention! and as u know i like ''The Rocker'' and also as mentioned above ''Let thier be Rock'' was a brill rock track! sung by one of the best rock vocalist of all time Bon Scott.

All the best, Paul. :D :D
