Bass guitar Question

Can a guitar wah-pedal be used on a bass guitar or is that not recommended?

no iy can be done... and guitar effect can be used with a bass... a bass wah will probally make the notes more defined and ish but a regular wah can work jsut as fine

i'm trying to play some rage against the machine riffs, but sometimes a wah is needed, i don't have one but my dad plays guitar and he's got a wah pedal and i was hoping that i could use it, but i wanted to ask first because i don't wanna F*** my gear, wanted to be sure it won't be harmful for my amp.

Yes they do.

I play guitar and bass. I originally bought a 105Q bass wah from dunlop, it was ok with my bass, but you couldnt position it in one spot to boost frequencies it always sprung back up to original position. The bass wah doesnt work with guitar too, very muddy. I then returned it for a Hendrix Crybaby wah and it not only works with guitar, but it works better with my bass than the bass wah lol.

As for your question, same difference between guitar and bass guitar. Bass wah concentrates more on low frequencies and guitar mroe towards high, but guitar wah still picks up low frequencies pretty well.
