I'm just started playing bass about a month ago and a few days ago, my little brother snapped one of the strings (don't know how though). Can anyone tell me how you put a new one on?

Ok first you have to lossen the string on the tuner...

thats the part that you twist to tune the string....

take the string completly off the tunner and push it out the end of the bridge. Take the new string and push it into the end of the bridge were you took teh odl oen out of... run it up to the tunner head and then hold it next to the tunner parallel... cut the string with plyers or something so that you only have 2 inches pasted teh tunner. then tighten up the tunner and string and tune it... becarfull not to tighten too much or you will pop it.

once your in tune... grab the string at the 12th fret and lift it up and inch or 2 away fromt eh fret board do this a few times.. then retune it... then stretch it 2 more times and then tune it again and now you are good to go.
