Hey people, i just got a new acoustic electric and I can't figure out what the notch dial does. I can hear the differenece when i twist it but I don't know what is going on.

dude, what the heck is a notch????
maybe its the tone. If you roll the tone back, you get a bassy tone, if you roll it forward, you get a trebly tone
