Hello,
I have been looking around for something that I think would fit what I want (I don't have much experience). First of all, it has to be inexpensive. I'm 15, and have no job. I want it to be easy (or at least just fun) to play for a beginner, but something that I wouldn't mind playing in front of my friends. I would like it to have humbuckers (I would like EMG 81's, but for what I want to pay, they won't come stock). I don't really mind much about the wood. I was thinking of something by ESP or Ibanez, because of their price and quality. However no music shop near me sell these. Or at least not the ones I'd be interested in. Something with good sustain (or at least descent), and something that I can tune down, without getting sloppy. (foreign made doesn't bother me either). So If you have a suggestion for me, thats great. Like I said, my main concern is the price because I don't have a job, and want to play before I'm 25. :)

Really depends on how much you want to spend. Since youre talking ESP and Ibanez, Im going to assume you like the strat/RG style body.

Squires are inexpensive ~100.00, but you really do get what you pay for when it comes to guitars, and a Squire plays like a 100.00 guitar. Next up the line would be some low end jackson/ESP/Ibanez guitars ~250.00 - 400.00 range.

Are there any local shops you can go to that might even be able to order a guitar for you maybe??

If "Play before you buy" really isnt an issue, you can try http://www.musicyo.com MusicYo has Kramer guitars and amps in "starter" type kit for ~175.00. Personally I wouldnt buy something I cant play first, but thats just me. Being that youre a beginner, I cant see that you would really know too much of a difference, talking from experience here since i didnt know squat when i started, it didnt really matter, but again its my opinoin

What about the Ibanez GRX20, I got the left handed version for $250, they have the righty version in Musicians Friend for $165, or very close to it. Just depends on what you WANT.

Well, you said something about being able to tune down without it getting sloppy, and preferably ESP or Ibanez, and you want EMG 81's, and all for a relatively cheap price. Well straight to mind comes the ESP EX 100. I've heard its fairly cheap. It comes with a tune-o-matic bridge. And I think it comes with EMG HZ's as stock. But check out some other ESP LTD models. Good quality for relatively cheap price. Ibanez make some killer guitars too. I'm not sure on the models without either a floyd rose tremolo or an Ibanez floating tremolo, but they are probably a bit cheaper than the LTD models, and they'd also probably be good for you.

Dont order it on the net. It will probly get messed up. Go to the store, play as many guitars that are IN your price range and BELOW your price range. You might find a nice guitar that is less expensive than you are looking for.
