can anyone recommend a good beginners dvd for me .my better half has just bought me a second hand bass and allthough im a guitarist i would like to learn the bass mainly to incorparate it in my songs ,as i work mainly in my home studio .anyone out there can you help:) :p

How long have you been playing guitar?
I would think you'd find the bass (relatively) easy.
OK, bass players, before you start beating up on me...what I meant is he should already know the notes and such. Sure, there's a different technique, the strings are fatter and harder to manipulate, etc., but you get my meaning.:D

now do you mean a teaching DVD... go to guitar center.. tell teh guy you want a video on bass lesson.. tell him you paly guitar and what you know... they will hook you up.
Note: if guitar center is not an option your local music store jsut work jsut as well

i've been playing guitar for about 10yrs very badly but getting by.i was just wondering if there are any decent dvd's out there ,i want to learn the basics properly.i have seen a few myself but wondered if any of you lot have a favorite so i could look at :D
