Stairway-tab

I've started learning Stairway to Heaven using this tab:

So far I've learned the first part, and I think it sounds very good. But when the next "stage" begins in the song the "Oh it makes me wonder"- and the "There's a feeling I get..."-part I just don't think it sounds good. Can anybody tell me whether the tab is wrong, or I play it wrong? If you know of a better tab, please tell me!
And sorry for my bad English, I'm only a 15 year old Norwegian boy...

I've been playing the song for years. I read the tab and there's things in there that I've never seen. Does it sound correct to you or are there extra notes in there?

As for getting back into the song play the walking bas notes A, B, then the open C chord.

I think it sounds correct in the first parts. The things you had never seen before, were they in the beginning parts?

Yes, in the beginning. It's like the picking section is correct and extra notes are thrown in.

I am at work right now and did not print out the tab, but in my head there are more notes in the tab than in the song.

I MAY re-look at it later. If I do I'll reply again and tell you EXACTLY what I think is wrong with it.

A word about TABs: TABs are subject to the listeners ear and how they tune their guitars as to which notes are played. It would be most helpful if the tabbers would include their tunings with the tab. But then again, I presume many of them out there don't know that either. There have been a lot of tabs that are just plain wrong even if you used a capo to bring your tunings more in line with theirs. Some songs that you know are written in E, for instance, someone will submit a tab in D, C, and Am. And the thing is they listened to the same recording as you did. Very strange.

Where do you live in Norway?

I spent 11 days in Oslo, Lillihammer, and Trondheim in '97 (at the expense of the Norwegian Government).

I also went to the mountains and crossed the fjord north of Geiranger and drove down to G'ger before heading back to Oslo.

Beautiful country. I loved having a snowball fight in August!

I just left Germany in February. I lived there for 5 years, but never made it back to Norway. I regret that I never took my wife with me.

If guitar doesn't hold out for me (which it should) I'm gonna program for games like DAoC, get some experience, maybe move into the "Idea" department also, get more experience, run off with their ideas and make my own game :D
