those little tiny amps

do you guys know those little tiny tiny amps? the ones that you can put batteries in? they are like the size of a shoe box or somethning. do you guys know if they make those for bass and if so where could i find one? and if they dont would it be ok if i just get one for guitars

They are for practicing on. Just enough volume to hear yourself.

Music stores have them...as well a eBay.
