Just like the question in the summary thing on the opening page, how do you make a chord like G/B or F/C or whatever? I have no idea, and it seems like it would be helpful. Btw, im sorta new at this guitar thing, but i've been studying hard at cyberfret.com. Thanx in advance for whoever knows this!

A G/B chord is a chord which has a B in the bass rather than a G which would normally be present. So where you would normally play a G major chord, strumming all 6 of the strings, to make a G/B chord you need only strum the top 5 strings, so B is present as the bass note. Similarly, the chord F/C is a chord of F major with C as the bass note.
Chords like these are called inversions, as the structure of the chord is rearranged. For example a chord of G/B is a chord of G major, second inversion. This is beacuse a normal chord of G major is G,B,D. But here, the second note of the chord appears in the bass, so it is a 'second inversion'. Similarly for F/C, C is the third note in the chord (F,A,C), so this is a 'third inversion'.
I hope that helps you a little!

I had this same kind of problem. but with an A/C# chord. I spent over an hour on the internet trying to find it, but to no avail. Finally, I found a page that said how to make the chords, and I found out that all I had to do was change the bass note!! I was both happy and pissed, cuz not only had I found it, it was only a matter of changing a note 1 1/2 steps....why did the people who thought this stuff up have to make the easy stuff so damn complicated?!?
