Im talking about Randall Amps. I DO know that D.D. plays out of one, but I want to know more than just that. I checked out there website and it didnt give enough information for me to know enough about the amps. But are they GOOD enough for a PUNK/METAL/ROCK guitarist to play out of. THANX ahead of time.

Randall is the best big name manufactorer of solid state non-modeling amps. They aren't going to be dynamic like a tube amp obviously. But they will sound good. Randall is expensive though. Don't really know why. For that price I'll go buy a Peavey AND a new ESP lol. Randalls are by all means metal and punk amps. LOTS of gain from those babies.

I think that I will look into them a bit more, and Ill check out the Carvin Double stacks, seeing that they are only 100 watts, not much over.

100 tube watts will be too much for you. And a full stack as well. You don't need a full stack. I don't need a full stack. A carvin 100 watt half stack will play big venues.

What is a "Big Venue" and a "Small Venue"? Ive heard people mention them MANY times., and I still have no idea what they are. Any help will be appreciated.

Well, a small venue would be something like around 100 people. A large venue would be something like a music hall or something close. Half stack will be fine for all of that.

Thanx man. I think I will look into the half stack that the guitarist for KISS endorses for Randall, it looks pretty good, but not as sweet as D.D.'s, which is only a double stack.

Check out the warhead combo. It's gonna be a loud amp. Plenty loud for what you'd be doing. It will last you a while for play out and stuff. Once you start sizing up venues, buy a tube head and cab. Bigger places... buy another cab or bigger head.

Thanx for the advice. Ill go check out the warhead combo right now and get the amp when I get a job, since Ill probably be jamming by then, and soon after; in a band.
