Bends and Metallica solo

I'd like to know how to bend string without having the other strings ring out after I release it.
I'm working on Metallica's Fade to Black solo, anyone know how to do this?:

I just can't figure out how to do it!! Any suggestions??

For something like this....take your first finger and barre across the 1st and 2nd strings at the 7th fret for the whole lick. When you do barre, go far enough across the 2 so that the tip of your finger is lightly touching the 3rd string (not fretting it, just touching). So that when you bend the 3rd string up, and then let go, the 3rd string will not ring because your 1st first finger will be touching it.
