HEy i Just Started Playing Guitar and i'm getting the hang of chords and such but when i try to sing when playing chords i mess up the rythm.I know sumone might of asked this but can you give me sum hints on how to keep rythm while singing?

First find a song you like and know the words off by heart (that's not essential but it makes things a lot easier).

Second, play a simple rhythm regardles of what the rhythm of the song is.
Example, if it had G Em Am and G again for the verse, strum 4 times for each chord. Note, some chords may require 8 or 2 strums depending on the timing of the chord changes in the song.

Once you can sing whilst using simple rhythms move on to more complicated ones and then finally the same strumming patterns that are in the songs you're singing.

It will be difficult in the beginning, but with pratice it's gets easier, and you will get better.

you may also try it the other way round (if you don't have problems finding the chords):

Sing first and catch the rhythm by clapping your hands or something similar (I sometime use the guitar as a drum). When you have the rhythm in your ear, blood and hands you can more easily transport them on the strumming.
