hi all,
apologies if this question has been dealt with but, but i couldn't find it mentioned in the tut or in howard wrights guide.
anyway, my problem is how to play something like this:

-----
55322
00000 etc.
i.e. what do i do with my d string. if it was meant to be an open, or muted would it not be indicated? since the author indicates 0 on e i so i assume s/he would indicate open string elsewhere.
the song (sepultura: kaiowas) is not plucked like i've seen in other tabs where this notation makes sense.
