I think the title says it all- how on God's earth do you do a pinch harmonic?

I'm assuming you've been through the lessons here.
I learnt to do them before I found Cyberfret so I had to make up my own way of doing them. I knew that you had to hit the string with the pick and a finger at the same time, but I never knew which finger. I found it extremely easy to use my third finger a couple of cm's behind the pick (towards the bridge).
Then I read the lessons and it says to do it with the thumb and pick. I find it impossible to use my thumb but it's soooo easy when using my third finger.
Everone will probably have their own way of doing it, so just remember what makes a pinch harmonic (hit the string with the pick and a finger at the same time) and come up with your own style.
Sorry if that wasn't much help.

I learned to use pinch harmonics from here.
That lesson is very good if you havent seen it.
Here are tips (you probably already know these) that make it easier for pinch harmonics. This is just from my use, I dunno if it will work with you:
1) Pretty heavy distortion
2) Dont hold the thumb on the string, pull it off after the sound comes (as soon as you hit the string)
3) Mixing pickups for some reason makes it harder. If you have a humbucker, use only the humbucker.
4) If you have a wah pedal (this is kind of cheating) put the pedal with the toe all the way down and play. This should make it extremely easy, but once you get it down you shouldnt use this way.
5) I assume setting the tone more toward treble is easier.
