I know you like the stone roses but have you come across FOOLS GOLD the SR tribute band they are a very good sound /lookalike band They are playing @ the uni in Manchester soon and are on a UK tour look out for them playing at a venue you can get to and check them out

I've heard of The Complete Stone Roses tribute band but not of Fools Gold.

The Complete Stone Roses were playing at The Charlotte in Leicester a while back but I had hard time convincing any of my friends to go see them, so if they come to Leicester it looks like I'll be going on my own, lol.

Sounds good 'cos I was too young to see them for real, I only heard of them about 4 years ago (the real one's that is:))

Well, I went to see them last night and it was fantastic. The look was a bit off, but I suppose it would be almost impossible to find someone who looked identical, but sound - wise they were stunning. I couldn't believe it, the guitarist captured all those little nuances in the songs which I thought I was the only one who knew about. I was most impressed by their version of Love Spreads - not easy to do with one guitar. They really were excellant, they must have studied the songs more than I have, and that's a lot!, lol.

I'm so glad I went, thanks again for pointing them out to me. :)
