Have any of you seen these?

I was looking through the squire web site and saw these...

they look kind of pathetic to me... Has anyone here played one of these things yet? If so, how are they? (not that I expect much)

Well anyway i was just wondering. It's not like I'd concider buying one.

These are the old DeArmond guitars. Fender owned DeArmond, then they discontinued them about 6 months ago. I bought the X-155 when they were blowing them out for $300. I love it. I plays and sounds great. I also have a student that has the M-70, and it is a decent quality guitar as well. Though I am happy that I bought mine before it was called Squier :) ...and bought the guitar at half the current price.

DeArmond were really nice. But now that squier has taken over I am sure they took shortcuts on stuff. The pickups appear to be different than what DeArmond used. If these guitars are the same as DeArmond, they won't be for long, knowing squier. They will make them just as cheap as their other stuff.
