Shawn, about character limit

Shawn, I've finally finished a very in-depth lesson on picking mechanics and dynamics, but I'm afraid if I try posting it that it will exceed the character limit (it has happened before elsewhere). This is what I'm concerned about: Does every single dash (-) used in forming Tab count as an individual character? And if so, is there any other way to form one unbroken line not comprised of single dashes?
