I'm new here, so hi, although I am familiar with online forums (I'm IceDevil9 @ BattleForums if anyone goes there :p ), but here's my story.

About 3 years ago, when I was 14, my father purchased me a nice blue acoustic guitar and signed me up for 'rock guitar' lessons. Well, I took them, they went smoothly, although my instructor mainly focused on teaching us how to read online tablature and taking song requests for tabs, that's about it. Not too much focus on chords or anything, he said to learn chords, pentatonic scales, and went over a little bit of them but not much.

I played ocassionaly, mostly Nirvana since I am a Nirvana junkie, but I recently decided, perhaps a New Year's Resolution you could say, although I rarely ever make them, to pick up my guitar and learn how to play it. Your site has helped me temendously in acheiving this goal, and I just wanted to thank you.

Ya thanks guys I spent a good 3 or 4 hours Sunday night learning my chords practicing them and printing out your chord lessons (The last page on the Basic 7), and also practicing some slides and hammer-ons/pull-offs.

Thanks again guys, you can expect me to keep coming here.

I started playing guitar a couple months ago, and I got a Fender Frontman 25R amplifier and a no-name Galveston electric guitar. I'm learning at an insanely fast pace due to CyberFret. Since the creator of this thread took his opportunity to thank the people who submit lessons and videos and all their help, I will do the same.

So, thanks a lot, everyone. ^_^
