Samples Section

i was thinking, maybe, a sample section like, a forum dedicated to sound clips of gear, and if someone owns a piece of gear and people are thinking of buying the same gear, the one person could record a clip or two of wat it sounds like....just a suggestion

Good idea but that probably could be covered by the Gear Forum.

The cost of the hard drive space, and the bandwidth would prohibit doing something like that.

What if it wasn't stored on your server? Have a section for samples, but you must link it in from a place of your choice?

I think the number of people who could or would make good quality recordings would be minimal and would not merit it's own forum. Links to outside sources would become broken. You are welcome to try doing something like that in the context of the gear forum if you want.
