well, yeah seems like a pretty reasonable fingering, I would do it the same way I guess. Why do you ask, have any problems with that?

Nah I don't have any problems with it. Jus' a curious question cos' sometimes I've seen ppl barre the 5 and 5 with either there 3rd or 4th. But usually well it would mute the 0 so it would be no good, unless you had small hands I suppose.

hmmm, oh yes, the part-barres.......I have my problems with them, because I tend to mute other strings as well. But I guees I have to learn it one day.
In this case, I think it is unneccassary, because you have, say, »enough fingers« to fret the strings easily without a part-barre, so......

I can't even imagine how I could play something like say

I really suck at muting all the strings, much less can I afford to be picky and only mute string 1 2 and 5...

Personally I'd mute the strings 5, 2, and 1 with my 1st finger on the 6th string. Almost like a barre but lightly touching the strings to mute them.
