Ok, i have a gfx - 212 amp (120 watts) and i want to add a crate cab to my rig. IS there a way to hook a cab up to an amp thats not a head. I want to hook it up to my 212 to it but i dont know how to go about that (if i can). All thats in the back are slots for channel select and DSP or something. I dont know, anyway, if you have any info that would be great, thanks.

Yeah man it's really easy. I have a GFX-212 and I run it into a Marshall 4x12. There's the external speaker output on the front of that amp. You just plug the cab into that. So it drives the marshall cab and the existing crate speakers. It sounds pretty good, for what the amp is. I am at the momment trying to get the 212 out of my rig. It was great when I was in middle school.

hey thanks man, is it a lot better than just having the 212?

It makes the sound a lot more full. There really isn't any volume change. The depth of it, and the projection all increase. It just makes it sound better.

Well, in a sense it is. The speakers in the crate work at the same time as the cab. So, by the number of speakers, it's a 3/4 stack :). It makes the amp really tall, and it gets LOUD. It's no tube amp... but it does get loud!

I still have the GFX212, I am not going to sell it. I am going to get a Samson Servo Reference amp to run my POD into. Which will drive my Marshall 1960A 4x12 cab. I am going to keep the Crate as a backup. It's too nice to sell it for 150 bucks or whatever music go round will give me for it. But at the momment I have the gfx212 going into the marshall, and the pod into the crate. It sounds alright, considering the POD doesnt run into guitar amps too well.
