I know this is might be stupid, as there are probably already many out there. But do you think a singing forum might be a good idea?

It could help people out (like me) who wanna learn more about it, as I'm sure there must be some singers on this site, as well as covering, this being a guitar site, things like singing while playing.

i dont see enough interest in singing on this board for it to warrant its own forum. I think maybe once every 2 months someone will post a singing clip or ask questions about.

Just my 2 cents! :p

Dunno if I'd wanna listen to any extra soundclips of terrible singing... still at least they'd be in one place - renamed in my head: AVOID







... ok you only get better if you try and you practise. I have a good ear, yet I havn't been able to sing in tune since I was 12 :mad:

There are forums out there dedicated to it.

You could join a singing forum and ask them for advice.

You could do solfege exercises using the major scale (do re mi fa so la ti do).

Or...try to listen to and emulate good singers.(of course "some" people may actually need alot of ear-training before they can even know what a "good singer" is,lol) :)

Or...take singing/voice lessons,etc.

Will do... voice lessons are out though, as I only have money for guitar lessons. (Which start next Monday WooHoo!!!!!!!!!)

I don't know avout my value in a singing forum... the only time I sing is to scare the ****roaches out of the walls

A singing forum would be cool, but I dont think theres enough interest at this point for one to really get much use. I'd like to see one and get some tips for singing too, but I just dont think it would get much use here.
