Crazy Kirk Hammet (call of ktulu solo)

Ive got most of the solo down, as close to the recorded version as i culd(a little sloppy on my part, but im not Hammet), anywhoot i had to look at tabs for this part(which i try to stay away from cuz there barely ever accurate, u kno how it goes), considering i thought it was a minor sweep...which it doesnt totally sound right when i do it that way, so most of the tabs i come accross hav this

its done a few times over towards the middle of the solo, just wondering how exactly to go about that, i sweep the 10's, then tap the 20 with the pick, leaving my pinky on 16, and then use my index finger on the 17th fret, only it comes out slower then what id like it to.
just wondering if theres a better way to do this that im not seeing, or shuld i just isolate parts of it until im up to par. or if anybody plays this part differently then the above.

two numbers seperated by a "/" usually mean to slide from the first fret number to the second, so I wouldn't tap on the 20th fret but slide to it from the 10th fret.

I'd sweep over the first 3 notes, using the left hand index for the G string, middle for B string and ring finger for the high E, then slide to the 20th fret at the high E, then I'd pull-off from it to the 16th fret, fretted with the index finger, and then using the middle finger for the 17th fret at the B string again...

hope it makes sense they way I've written it :)

maybe for once i shuldve went with what the tab said lol

that was the sweep i originally went with
its the one from http://www.digevent.com/ that Marc Seal teaches for one of the lessons incase any1 was interested, its prolly cuz theres more notes in this then in the previous tab that it doesnt work for call of ktulu very well
