Ok, I am trying to learn some basic tunes on my guitar, and I heard that Rancid songs are pretty easy. I'm trying 2 leard 'Brad Logan'.
The tab I have found only has the chords, not the tab, the chords are:
C, F, Am, G
I looked on the chord finder to figure out the chords, and the C chords are listed as:
C. C.. C... C.... C...... etc.
Same with the other chords
Which one's are the ones I need and what do these dots mean?

Any help is appreciated
Thanx
Jason

They are all C chords. There is more than one way to play every chord. The dots that you see in the chord finder program are used for that program only. It is just telling that they are different forms of a C. So you will never see a chord referred to as C.. If the music that you have just says C, then there really is no way to tell which C to use. You can assume that it is a basic open position C, or a barre chord.....but there is no way to tell exactly unless you can figure out which one it is by ear. If you are new to guitar and do not know your basic open position chord, and barre chords...check out the lessons below.
