Quick Review: The best free music making software out. You are in control of most everything, and installation is easy. I have recorded several songs using Garageband, Garageband is good, but Im not. If you would like I can post the songs I have done from garageband.

When I shove off to college I'll get a laptop, and I'm leaning towards a PowerBook over a Windows machine, pretty much solely for GarageBand. That, and I've been playing few PC games anymore, so lack of them on the Mac is really no big deal to me.
