Hi all - What do you think of DeArmond guitars? www.samash.com has them on close out sale. They look cool and are made in Korea by Guild/Fender. If you own one or played one, what do you think? They have the M-77 for $220.

I just did a search for it on Musician's Friend and could not find it. Those close out deals are great, but they sell out quick. So unfortunately buy the time you do a little research, they are gone. I bought a close out guitar at a great price. I also tried to buy a couple others and lost out when they ran out.
Here is they Home page DeArmond

I have never played one, but the DeArmond site and Sam Ash is showing the list price at $899. Now that is a nice mark down. At least if you don't like it, you should be able to sell it for what you have in it....I would think. If Sam Ash's close outs are anything like MF :) grab it before it is to late.

Yeah - I ordered that DeArmond. My thinking is that if they are going out of business, it might be somewhat collectible down the road. But its a good price on a nice guitar.

I changed my order from Sam Ash to Musicians Friend and got the M-72 for $200. It came 3 days ago, and I have to say this is the nicest $200 guitar I've ever seen.
