I know very little about playing with tricks and every thing. I just recently recieved an Electric Bass for a gift. Can anyone help me to learn different things. Any info will help. Thnx

well, to start, you could get lessons if you had the time, money, and desire to play bass guitar. if you are short on those things, you could get an instructional book. those teach you different techniques, like slap, etc. i dont know anything about bass tho, im just playing electric guitar right now....

I don't play bass but picked up a book on it, just haven't got back to going through. It looks really good. It's called 'Electric Bass Composite' by Dan Dean. It has all three of his instructional books in one binding and it comes for an incredible $15. It seems to cover all techniques (I know, they never do) and the thing I really like about it is it is in standard notation with tab right below the notation lines. Good luck.

I have a book called "Progressive Bass Guitarist." It has been alot of help and I do use CyberFretBass.com. I learned about it after I started lessons with my mothers accustic guitar. But thanx for the help.
