is it risk free to put a cable from the "headphones" on my amp to my computer? and use to record

Thats what I used to do with my GNX1. Since it had a left and right out. Then it would only record to one side. So I used the headphone out to get the full stereo sound. Just make sure you have some sort of cabinet modeling.
