im new to this music theory thing but when i look a the
stuff like i know the notes and stuff but how do i know
wich strings to hit???you know theres everynote one
each strings so how do i know cih strings to hit?

Which string you play doesn't matter. There is a little differance in the tone, but just look at the way the notes are laid out on the fret board and find a place where you can get to all the ones you need.

Think of it this way..

Looking at the staff and seeing the notes that are the lowest means that they are lower in tone..

It really doesn`t how you read it as long as the lower notes are lower in tone than the higher notes..

Try reading in one postion [like 4 to 5 frets] then moving postions and reading the staff there also..

hmmm, yeah, you don't know, if you go from standard notation......just look at the whole piece of notes, find the key notes, that is the first or the most often played, then look at the other notes and relate them to this key......play the notes on the strings so you can reach every note easily, try avoiding far streches and moves and try to find all the notes you need around the same area on the fretboard say within a five-fret-space - that will not always be possible, but it's a way to start. Practise will make it easier to find the right place to start playing.........
