It was ok to listen to once. The Blood song was one dimension and went nowhere. Some of the recording was faulty and dropped out.

The vocals were kinda cool for the song....needed something else though.

Then I listened to the other songs and the vocals were the same. I guess the singer can't sing and all the tweaking covers that up? I don't know...just a guess.

There's a show of some definite talent though.

He did all his recording on an old version or acid pro that only had 16 bit sound. I dunno if he had any vocal lessons or anything like that but he is a decent singer it's just the recording software is pretty bad.

i actually hate this kind of music(metal) but i listened to it and i thought it sounded pretty cool, except i agree with the guy that said the singing sounded a little weird...but pretty good!

Blood Red Sky:

Vocals: If Monster Magnet and Zakk Wylde had a kid...

I like the lyrics, from what I'm hearing.

Guitar sounds tight. I like that.

A little repetitive. Almost has what I call the KISS Syndrome. I like the energy, but there isn't much variety.

Not bad. I hope something changes in the verse after the chorus though. It sounds a lot like the verse.

1:30 - was that a solo or a fill? I hope it was a fill.

2:00 - The high melody is getting old. Might leave it out of the first verse and put it in the second verse. Would help the song to sound more dynamic.

2:30 - The bridge doesn't sound what I envisioned

~3:00 - OH GOD! THE HIGH MELODY RETURNS! MAKE IT STOP!

I like the way the song ends with an abrupt bass blurb.

Seriously, I dig the key and the verse progression, but the song sounds a lot the same all the way through. Kill the high melody on at least the first verse, make the bridge stronger and maybe add a solo. That would be a good song.

So all in all, I REALLY like the sound. It just badly needs lead guitar and more variety. I'm a metalhead, so this IS my style. Just being honest with you.
