Hey I tried recording a little blues improv and it kinda worked. Check it out HERE (http://www.audiostreet.net/artist.aspx?artistid=19259). The sound quality is really bad and my timing is off cus I didn't have a metrenome handy. Also it keeps cuttin the song short so if it stops abruptly then that's not the end just so you know. If it doesn't start back up try re-playing it. I used the Bbm(B-flat minor)blues scale for the main riff improv and the rythem part is a three chord part...Bbm, Ab, and F# and back to Ab. The solo overall is very sloppy because I didn't feel like doing another take and it was supper time:rolleyes:. I will probably make a better take later.

cool. great to hear something else than metal on this forum :)
you should try to do something else than just going up and down the scale though. Try to add some bending, sliding etc and spice things up, and it will be great.

I plan on adding the little things in a better take of it. I basically did that take in 5 minutes before supper so I was a little rushed:D.

Don't embarass yourself like that.
If you are not going to put the effort in it to do the best you could do , then don't go waste our time.
I suck to, but I am not going to post nothing I aint put my heart and time into.

It's called an improv for a reason. I just bought an adapter to plug my guitar into my computer and I wanted to try it out. Personally I think your opinion is rather harsh but whatever you say.

Like I said, you posted several reasons as to why it sounds the way it does
instead of being a baby about it, grow up and take heed
if you put no heart and effort than why waste your time playing?
you clearly stated you put little effort into it

I put effort into it but it wasn't supposed to be something great, I was just trying out the stuff I bought to plug my guitar into my computer.

What's with the mood swing...a few posts back you were telling me to stop wasting your time and that I shouldn't waste my time if I play like that and now there's no hard feelings:confused:.

also, i haven't plugged into that file yet, but i'm a big fan of people posting licks and improv on this forum. i big fan of the posting and a big fan of the players that do it, no matter what it sounds like.
and i knew what you meant in the first post guitar_kid :)
