I've seen one of these!!!!!
It was a bit smaller tho. It was on 'The Buena Vista Social Club'. This cuban guy was playing it. I agree its very interesting.
I'd certainly like to play on, hehe.

Btw... ummm check out the jag panzer website. The lead guitarist for the band has alot of skill on the classical guitar as well as 7 string. I'm pretty sure the site is http://www.jagpanzer.com or jag-panzer.com

that type of guitar has been around since the late 1700's or early 1800's I have seen some classical guitarists use a 10 string as well (imagine bass and guitar on the same neck). I don't know if I'll ever be ready to try something like that.
