ther's only two main types of sus chords, sus2 and sus4. you can still have a sus chord but with added stuff like 7's and 6's. basicallya sus chord replaces the third note in the key's major scale with a different note (the 2nd or 4th). a sus4 chord would replace the 3 of the major scale with the 4 of the major scale and the same for sus2 except its replaced with the 2

EX:
Here are the notes up to the 5th fret

E|-F--|-F#-|-G--|-G#-|-A--|
B|-C--|-C#-|-D--|-D#-|-E--|
G|-G#-|-A--|-A#-|-B--|-C--|
D|-D#-|-E--|-F--|-F#-|-G--|
A|-A#-|-B--|-C--|-C#-|-D--|
E|-F--|-F#-|-G--|-G#-|-A--|
|
First Fret

The C Major Scale is of course
C D E F G A B C
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8(1)

Notes for a C Major Chord- C E G
Notes for a Csus2 Chord- C D G
Notes for a Csus4 Chord- C F G

Csus4 Chord:

------
|1===1 <-3rd Fret
||||||
||23||
||||4|
------

Csus2 Chord:

------
|1==11 <-3rd Fret
||||||
||23||
||||||
------

Csus2/4 Power Chord Shapes:

sus2 PChord

use these just a normal 5 power chord. Move the root around on the low E string and A string.
