i've been listening to incubus for a while and i like the early stuff like science and enjoy incubus and fungus but most of their new stuff sucks. anybody know of any good funk bands?

Oh,yeah--George Clinton and Parliament. P-Funkadelic! In fact, I saw the Chili Peppers jam with Clinton on some lame music award show a few years ago. It was great. He's the big daddy of funk.:cool:

Try James Brown, he practically invented Funk. Jamiroquai might be one to check out as well.

Ummm....Funk really isn't what I'm into, just offering a suggestion. Are you asking because you want to know, or do you already know? :confused:
PS I'm too old for MTV, the VJ's make me cranky, and most of the videos are too obscure for my taste. Just play the song, man!
