I can't really compre the 2 speakers since I don't know much about them, but I can tell you it sounds pretty good.

That's a really powerful sound you got. I didnt hear the other speaker, but I can say the new one definitely sounds good. Very Led Zeppelin like tone. It's also really clear, even recorded.
