What are some songs with good acoustic solos to them?

I've been playing Layla (acoustic) lately and want to know of some more. I love soloing on an acoustic, it sounds so much nicer than screaming, shreiking leads.

Thanks.

but the best acoustic solo (which isn't really a solo) is mason williams - classical guitar

(eric clapton plays it as acoustic solo)

Try messing around with the d scale, thats great for makings solos.

But for a modern band Creeds guitarist is cool, for an old school band check out some stevie ray vaughn.

Unfortunately, that's not necessarily true :( There just isn't a large demand (if any at all) for we neoclassicalists anymore.

However, Flamenco Diablo and Crying by Malmsteen are excellent pieces to learn and master. They also serve very well to use as warm-up pieces before a performance... They'll get your fingers flying, heart pounding and adrenaline pumping in short order ;)

Santeria-Sublime

Good acoustic song period. The intro is originally played on a clean electric guitar, but it stills sounds great on an acoustic.

I already suggested this song to a guy asking about a 1 guitar part song, but it's acoustic and it has some crazy tapping at the end. "More than words" by "extreme." awesome song too. and the intro to "Nothing else matters" by metallica is pretty good too. or even the verses aswell. But ya look into some blues, SRV and the likes. pretty great stuff there.

Metallica fade to black. Layla by Clapton is a good song to play sweet little riffs.

if you like clapton and you like acoustic solos then you'll love "old love" on his unplugged album.
hey king rayman, do you know any songs besides "more than words"?

When you search for acoustic tunes, go back to the times of acoustic artisits.
James Taylor, Jim Croce are a few, some Eagles tunes are composed on acoustic then fined out on electric later. Just have to research and play, go with your own taste in tunes.
