I like to listen to music for a few hours at one go, which probably explains why I only own 3 singles. So what are some of your favorite albums?

Heres mine, not really in any order:

1. The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses. This is possibly one of the best debut albums I've heard.

2. Replenish - Reef. Again a wonderfull debut.

3. The Bends - Radiohead. I first heard this less than a year ago. Not at all what I expected; far less whiney.

4. The It Girl - Sleeper. This reminds me of the summer of '96 and watching England in the European Championships.

5. Definatly Maybe - Oasis. For the same reason as No 4.

6. Glow - Reef. This was the first album I ever bought. They used to play it in the background of a program called This Life. Possibly one of the best programmes I've ever seen.

7. Much Against Everyones Advice - Soulwax. These are from Belguim. They sing in English and are amazingly profound in a way that that an English speaking person could never be. Having said that, they do sing a lot of Bo***cks too, but still good.

8. Dookie - Green Day. His lyrics really speak to you, if you're a moody teenager. Luckily I was.

9. Showbiz - Muse. Simply great songs.

I'm sure I've missed loads out, but I could go on all day. So what are your favorites?

favorite albums:

Randy Rhoads Tribute- I'll take a live album over anything usually

Diary of a Madman- It is a lot better than people think it is, if you listen to it once through your probably not hearing it fully, it takes a few times, unlike blizzard of oz

Blizzard of oz- Was one of the greatest ablums ever recorded, every song IMO was awsome, although it is an awsome album I perfer the way the songs were played live.

Van Halen I- very awsome all songs on it are great

I like alot of others but these ones are at the top of my list

1)Metallica-S&M I really love what they did to the songs, especially bleeding me and outlaw torn.I say those two cause i find them better then the originals.

2)Metallica-...and Justice for all Listening to this album is like eating too much chocolate, after a while you get stomach aches but you just can't stop eating! It's really heavy!

3)Alice in Chains-Unplugged I think this is the album that makes me want to pick up my guitar and strum away!

4)Alice in Chains-Nothing Safe

5)System of a down-System of a down Actually i don't own this album,i can't find it in my country but i downloaded all the songs and a few less known ones and put them all on one album and it's DEFINATELY one of my favourites.

I know i'm gonna look at this after i post and go"hmm maybe iron maiden should have been in there...wait i really like that Sabbath album" etc etc but in my current state of mind, those are my favourite and the ones that i suppose i play more frequently than the rest.

1) Metallica - S&M. I totally dig what they did with their songs too. The best tho I would have to say were The Call Of Ktulu and The Thing That Should Not Be

2) Steve Vai - The 7th Song. My only Vai album, but I'm planning to buy all of them

3) Joe Satriani - Surfing With The Alien. My only Satch Album, but I'm planning to buy all of them

4) Metallica - Metallica. It's more listener friendly than MOP and RTL (those are prolly my fav metallica albums, but I just can't listen to them forever =]) and I love their tone on that album.

5) Herbs - Listen (The Very Best Of). They're a New Zealand Maori Reggae band... they have awesome grooves.

The albums I really want tho are the Favored Nations catalog(ue).
