in a song in the key of G major (4 #'s, E F# G# A B C# D# E), if you have an A# on the 2nd space do you have to put a natural on the A on the first leger line above the staff if you want just A or does each accidental only count for a single A, not the other octaves?

whwhwhat???? - wait: G-major should only have 1# on F
then #- or b-signs always count for all the same notes in the different octaves, even if they're not prescripted before the whole line of inside of the line before one note
if put inbetween a #- or b-sign reigns all the notes with one space (rhythm-unite that is, I hope), if the note occurs again in the next space and is without a #- or b-sign it's a natural. In the same space - if you want it to be natural, you have to put a naturalize-sign before it......
.....I hope this helped, somehow you got me a bit confused (ohh, the vocabulary)....
