Hey everyone, I'm knew here and just wondered if anybody had any tips on the B flat barre chord. I just can't keep my third finger on the 4th, 3rd, and 2nd strings without hitting the 1st string. Thanks for any info.

well, you're double barring it, right, all I could say here is practise, practise, practise... it will come, but if you want to play it urgently fast, try and only bar the first fret and grip the three strings with your remaining fingers:

1------
1---4--
1---3--
1---2--
1------
1------, indicating the fingers, not the frets here

....good luck.....

Thanks, I'm not gonna go on to something else without getting that first.

hmmmm, Werner I would not agree with that, you know.....
first: you've got to keep the fun up, so you should do somthing easy and working well inbetween to not let you become depressed or unmotivated......
and second: any barre-chord is a bit tricky to practise, so you should practise it constantly, but not for too long in row or you could risk some damage to your junctions, practise it, then play something else and then return and so on......

Yeah, I was just thinkin' about that but I can do it pretty good now.
Thanks for your opinion on it.
PS It's my birthday today, I just turned 14!
