back from vacation

i just got back from vacation in florida. i did this in a different thread because doing it in all the other threads because it be a big hassle since i had 7 full pages of new posts when i got back.

it was alot worse than vacation is supposed to be. i didnt wanna go in the first place because ive been there before and i dont like it. its ratty and really old and theres a buncha hick people with big accents from louisiana, tennesee(SP), and arkansas. also the water is salty as hell (ocean), the sand is rubbery, and their pool temperatures are always outa wack. the spa's not hot, one pool is like an ice factory and the other is always sandy because everyone goes in it. both my sisters wanted to go so it was 2v1. but then one didnt want to go because she wanted to spend the time with her boyfriend who was about to leave for six weeks because of some military thing he has to do in san antonio (hes in college going in to the air force). so it was only one sister but we still went even though they screwed up our reservations last year. we drove a long 10 hours to get there, and then it started to rain like the world was on fire. and unfortunatly they screwed up our reservations again. our condo was taken (no clue how the hell that happened) so we had to get the only other two bedroom condo left and it was a piece of crap. the wallpaper was pelling off, the blender didnt work, the washing machine broke and water went all over the floor, it had terrible lighting so it was like a dungeun, and the kitchen was terribly under equipped (crappy knives and pans, etc.). the only things to do there were swim, talk to people (hicks), and lay out in the sun. all of which i niether wanted to do or could do at my own house. there's a buncha little things that were bad that i could add but its already too long.

PS. the only thing good was i got to buy an FBI hat and a shot glass the says:

since there wasnt enough space id like to mention now that the worst thing was not getting to see my dog (best damn dog in the world) and not playing guitar (parents wouldn't let me take it).

I just got back from the south of France on 9 august, I'd have to say my holiday ruled there are some great musicians over there and wine is cheaper than water (85 eurocents for a bottle, and 4.80 euros for 24 bottles of some dodgy beer). Sorry Florida turned out to be such a bad holiday for you, I been there a few times (Disneyworld) and it was the best.

Mr. B - there was not a single musician in sight (good or bad). i didnt hear a single song besides my own CD's the whole time. no one even brought a traveler instrument. all i saw were hick tourists, old fisher people, and beach bums. the waves there suck anyway, no surfers.
