i was just offered 7 les paul copy guitars, with names like stage and aria for 300$ canadian each. they had the exact same features as any les paul guitar, i swear, it seemed as if the only difference was the name (same pickups, look, fret board). These guitars are also used. I was offered a baracuda guitar , which is the exact replica of a Gibson SG (It looked exactly like angus youngs guitar - i think its an SG copy?) brand new, with Gibson pickups too, for 400$ canadian. It was a red one with a black pickguard, and had the exact same cool look a angus's. I saw a Kent guitar, still playable from 1948, for 600$ canadian. it was really nice! and there was also a very cheap riviera semi acoustic... are any of these good deals? should i buy em all or what? - sorry about some of the vague info, im not an expert on parts of guitars!!

Have you played any of these guitars? The price is right but I'd be a little concerned about the quality. My guess is that all these guitars have bolt on necks which is fine but some of those cheap copys have terrible neck fits. If you can wiggle the neck I'd say don't buy it unless they really give you a deal. See how far off the intonation is too. If it's real bad see how much room you have to play with to get it right. Look down the neck and see how straight it is too. If it looks like you can shoot arrows with it forget it. Above all play them first.
It all depends on what you want to do with them. I wouldn't recomend any of them for a stage guitar.
I can't really make a recomendation without seeing them first.
The Kent sounds interesting but from my memory they were horrible guitars. I don't know what they were like in the 40s. Good luck.
