F Chord

ok, I have this one thing that says the following is an F:

B|-1
G|-2
D|-3
A|-0
E|-0

or something

then, I got this book that says that is an Fmaj7 or something, and that F is a bar chord like:

B|-1
G|-2
D|-3
A|-3
E|-1

or something like that..

which is the actual F?

The second chord is the normal F chord, the first one I suppose would be I suppose Fmaj7/E. If you are a beginner and that F barre chord is too difficult, you can play this one with a half barre:

e| -1
B| -1
G| -2
D| -3
A| -x
E| -x

I'm starting to get the hang of barre chords, so I think I'll use the real one

Both of them are F. The 1st is Fmaj7/E (if you don't play the two bottom string it's Fmaj7) and the second is F Major.
