well i met him once in a record shop and my first impression of him was 'your shorter than i expected' lol in fact megadeth at that time were all short.

I think he's great, only heard him as megadeth guitarist. amazing.

@ nick! When! and where did you meet him?!

I met him as the band were doing a sort of promotional thing signing stuff in a record shop in birmingham. it was the release of their new album (i think it was called 'countdown to extinction', not too sure though, also the track 'no more Mr nice guy was on it')

It was a fair few years ago - i dont remember too much about it.

I think he rules, but in a muso sort of way, did you know that he learnt Japanese cos he thought it would improve his music?

Don't know much Megadeath, other than sympathy for destruction and I really dig that tune. However, I have an old album from a band called Hawaii, their debut album I believe whith a really crappy volcano drawing on the cover (1982 or so?). It was marty and two japanese guys. Can't say much for the album, its pretty unlistenable, but marty did jam. I will have to dig it up and check it out again. I had no idea he was in megadeath, I will have to check out some more of their stuff.
